paul-ryan-not-impressed-apThe two-year budget deal brokered by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., and Senate Budget Committee Chairwoman Patty Murray, D-Alaska, passed the Senate Wednesday by a vote of 64-36, with nine Republicans aligning with Democrats.

All 55 members of the Democratic conference voted together for the bill, but some say Ryan misled Republicans about the plan’s savings, according to Breitbart News. The bill passed the House last week 332-94, with 62 Republicans voting against it.
